Bedtime Routines

Lack of sleep can cause a number of other problems including bad behavior, an inability to concentrate and attend the night vigil. To make sure that your child is getting adequate sleep on a regular basis, you will need to maintain routine sleep pretty consistent.

Here is a list of DOS and Don'ts for establishing a bedtime routine that works for you:

Do:Spend some time relaxing with a silent activity 30 minutes before bedtime routine.
Be consistent. routine must be the same night-at night, so that your child learns to anticipate sleep as part of routine.
Include in their regular routine chuchas, as heat soft will help prepare the body of his son to rest.
Be sure to read together part of the bedtime routine.
Move before sleeping his son up (for a moment earlier) if he or she often wakes up at night.
Leave the room while your child is still awake.
Enable soft music or a nightlight.
Stay calm when his son calls for you.

Always put your baby on your back to sleep.

Enables frequent outages for sleep routine.
Do lying together or swinging her child to sleep a regular part of the bedtime routine.
Use thick blankets, quilts, stuffed animals or pillows in your baby's crib.
Pick up your child if he or she continues to call for their struggles to go to sleep. instead, simply reassure him or her that you are nearby.
