Sandra Bullock, Pre-Brad Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone-and now apparently Eva Longoria: they've all been duped, left behind or neglected by their partners, but instead devoting himself to self-pity, choose motherhood.

For decades, we were informed single parent can be fun. While the reality is not always a barrel of laughs Hollywood beauties these only give it a touch of glamour and make it easier.


We're supposed to turn a blind eye to the team of expert can employ nannies and round the clock.


Across Europe, some 90 percent of parents are women. With a rate of almost 50 per cent fewer couples divorce and married firstly, parents are a new model of a "normal" family.


Furthermore, in many countries, single people now have the right to take or receive assisted conception.


So what's life really like a single mother when you don't have a contract of $ billlion actuation and a guaranteed battaillon all support behind you?
